Dojo Policy

1. Students with prior martial arts experience can be promoted at Sensei's discretion. (promotion requirements may be waived)
2. Requirements for all promotions are detailed in the Dojo Training Manual.
3. Classes will be taught by a designated Instructor in the absence of Sensei.
4. Weapons and Kumite training can begin at White belt level.
5. Students Cannot Kumite unless they have the required safety equipment. HEAD GEAR IS MANDATORY! If anyone shows up for class without the required equipment and no one is able to share their equipment, they will have to do Kata Kumite or watch the class. The Dojo will not have the required equipment. PLEASE READ KUMITE RULES POSTED IN THE DOJO!
6. All students will accumulate hours towards their next belt promotion. This will include Kumite and Weapons classes.
7. Any student whose membership has lapsed (not paid after 1 month) will have to reapply as a new student and pay a new monthly fee along with a new membership fee. They will have to start over with new hours for their next belt rank. (If you talk to sensei some of this may be wavered).
8. Dojo fees are payable on the 1st of every month. After the 1st of the month, a one dollar will be added for every day that has passed the 1st of the month. If you know you are not going to be in class the day is due, then please either pay early or mail it.(If you can not pay at this time please see Sensei). All returned checks will be charged a fee.
9. Sensei has the right to modify this policy according to circumstances as he sees fit.

Dojo Rules

1. Please be on time for your class.   (Make sure your parents know what time your class starts.)
2. Do not wear any jewelry while in class.   (Watches, Long Earrings, Lose Necklaces)
3. Do no chew gum or candy while in class.   (#2 & 3 rules are for your safety)
4. No talking in class.    (If you want to say something or ask a question, raise your hand.)
5. Do not walk off the floor while taking class.    (Raise you hand to leave, only 1 person may leave at a time.)
6. No playing around in the class room, before, during or after.   (Show respect to other students and parents that are watching.)
